2. Do generics have the same treatment effects as the original ones?

No. The generic medicine as well as the original is the officially approved medicine, which is produced in accordance with all the technological and hygienic standards. Almost all the countries in the world produce generics. It is a whole new direction of pharmacy industry development.
4. How can you explain the lower price of generic medication?
In order to develop new medication pharmaceutical companies spend around 15 years for research, which is done in a couple of different ways. Unfortunately, around 90% of projects of potentially new medications will be detected as not effective at the finish line, and those will not be introduced to the market. This means millions of dollars are spent for nothing. So those costs have to be repaid at the account of the price of that only successful medication.
Whereas companies manufacturing generic medication do not incur such losses, their only goal is to repeat what was already developed. That is why the price of generic medication is more affordable for the end buyer.
5. Do generics practically duplicate the original medication?
If you examine the chemical structure of an original medicine and its generic you will see that those two are not duplicates – the “healing core” is the same, however admixture is different. However the admixture does not influence the treatment effect.
As soon as the patent is expired for some original medication the company developed the medicine sells the raw formula to other manufacturers. However, the company does not reveal the secrets of their own process of manufacturing. So while the other companies try to define the better way of manufacturing the obtained formula, the customers can get only the original (or brand) medication in the pharmacies. As soon as the manufacturer creates the analogue of the original brand the end user can get the generic.
6. Does every original medication has got its generic?
Yes, practically all the original medicine have got generics. The only exception – the unique medication for treatment of cancer and AIDS, in those cases any small step or ingredient plays a significant role.
